Philip K. Dick
I know that good director (e.g. Spielberg or Verhoeven) can produce multiple groundbreaking movies, but did not know that writer can have similar impact.

Although Dick spent most of his career as a writer in near-poverty,[6] eleven popular films based on his works have been produced, including Blade Runner, Total Recall, A Scanner Darkly, Minority Report, Paycheck, Next, Screamers, The Adjustment Bureau and Impostor.

Does any other writer have as many movies based on his/her writings as Philip K. Dick has?

We can remember it for you wholesale

Wow - I totally forgot about Steven King.

I guess King's stories slightly less relevant to my personal interest, because out of this long list of movie adaptations only 3 stand out for me:
The Running Man
The Shawshank Redemption
The Green Mile

While Philip K. Dick's adaptations are more relevant to my interests: Blade Runner, Total Recall, Paycheck, Minority Report, A Scanner Darkly.

From my perspective Blade Runner is above all other entries in both lists. :)

Yes, but Total Recall is pretty close.

Definitely.
